NOTES: Kalis is a Male Aasimar Rogue / Cleric in D&D5e 2014. He is a PC in "our" group, and this happens to be his "main" PC that I know of. This is the only campaign I run with them to provide an idea of how well I know them. #### POSE REFERENCE I'd like to use this pose for kalis, as if they're taking aim at something with their crossbow ![[9dcfa50173bb45b53a51b6c5b0406ffb.jpg]] #### FACE REFERENCE Maybe just squinting with one eye close as he takes aim; something he constantly will say in session is (taking a steady aim ill....insert here...) #### BACKGROUND REFERENCE (see specific notes category on this) #### EXISTING IMAGES REFERENCE Here are a collection of existing reference images regarding the character ![[Pasted image 20260605082036.png]] ![[Pasted image 20260605082103.png]] ![[Pasted image 20260605104541.png]] #### SPECIFIC NOTES 1. their current look is closer to the image that has the crossbow in their hand 2. their "crossbow" is actually closer in look to the one from the pose reference image, and not the reference art 3. they do not have a bow and arrow any longer 4. there is a crossbow bolt pouch on their hip 5. they have a shortsword that rests on their right hip 6. a big thing for them is a necklace that looks like the emblem of the raven queen (see ref art) 7. the pose reference art is pretty spot on for what im looking for, kalis and I in our party usually have to handle the hunting for food which turns into rations for our traveling. Maybe take the pose and have his boot up on a log instead of a rock, and keep it it the edge of a forest (like there is a forest in the background, but hes outside of it), completely remove the goofy wolf thing though 8. the crossbow is mostly wood with some parts metal, again the pose ref is gonna be the best bet for the look
